DEED  OF UNDERTAKING

do hereby solemnly undertakes as follows:

WHEREAS a sale deed dated.                  was executed in my favour in respect of the property more fully described in the Schedule hereunder and registered as Document No.          of           on the file of the Sub Registrar,           

WHEREAS since the value of the Property dealt with in the Schedule mentioned property has been felt to be undervalued by the Sub Registrar,              and the said Sale Deed was referred under Section 47(A)(1) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and the same is pending with the Special Deputy Collector (Stamps),                                              /   Section 47(A)(5) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and the same is pending with the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority (Stamps), Chennai 28..

WHEREAS on a Writ Petition filed by impleading the Sub Registrar, as one of the Respondents in the Writ Petition No.             of                 , the Hon’ble High Court of Madras in it order dated                      directed the Sub Registrar,             to return the original sale deed to me after getting an undertaking from me to pay the amount subject to the result of the proceedings under Section 47(A)(1) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899and also  not to alienate or encumber the property more fully described in the Schedule hereunder in any manner till I pay the deficit stamp duty and interest, if any, thereon as decided under Section 47(A)(1) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899.

            Now this Deed of Undertaking Witnesseth as follows:

I, the aforesaid,                                    do hereby solemnly undertake and abide the orders of the Hon’ble High Court and co-operate with the authorities concerned.
